Fathers Day June 17th 2018

We do expect to be very busy on Fathers day so, as always on a Sunday, we recommend booking in advance. Whilst we will ask you for a small deposit to secure your booking, we do still sometimes have last minute cancellations so it is always worth a call to check for availability. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.


Soup of the day with granary bread
Prawn and mango salad with a chili dressing
Chicken liver pâté with red onion marmalade served with toasted granary bread
Duo of melon with a berry compote, Parma ham and local Cowlick mango sorbet
Griddled marinated halloumi – with chargrilled vegetables and a yoghurt and cucumber dressing
Aromatic shredded duck salad with coriander, spring onion, cucumber and toasted sesame seeds

Roast rib of English beef, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes
Roast loin of Devon pork, apple sauce, stuffing, roast potatoes

Local haddock fillet deep fried in real ale batter, minted mushy peas and fries
Chicken quesadilla served with a sweetcorn salsa, salad and skinny fries
Pan fried salmon served with stir fried vegetables and noodles with prawn crackers
8oz steak burger topped with Gruyere cheese, bacon and fries
Whole tail scampi served with fries and garden peas
Baked cod fillet with a tomato and olive tapenade, creamy mash and vegetables
Seafood platter; prawns, smoked salmon, crab, cockles, crusty baguette, salad & dips
Superfood salad – halloumi, quinoa, broccoli, beetroot, cauliflower cous-cous, watercress and pomegranate topped with toasted seeds, spiced chickpeas and tzatziki dressing (v)
