Mother’s Day 2020 falls on Sunday 22nd March. We will be running a set price menu from midday through until 9pm and bookings are essential. Please call on 01752 403888 to book your table as we are unable to take bookings online for this date. We very much look forward to seeing you.


Carrot, ginger and coconut soup and sea salt focaccia
House made Scotch egg served cold with chipotle mayonnaise
Traditional prawn cocktail with Marie Rose sauce with organic wholemeal bread and butter
Grilled halloumi with char grilled veg and a mint, yogurt and cucumber dressing
Trio of fish; smoked salmon, Atlantic prawns and mackerel paté, organic wholemeal bread and butter
Pan fried mushrooms with garlic and parsley served on sour dough toast
Aromatic shredded duck salad, coriander, spring onion, cucumber and toasted sesame seeds

Main Courses

Roast rib of English beef, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes
Roast loin of Devon pork, Yorkshire pudding, crackling, stuffing, apple sauce and roast potatoes
Roast Creedy Carver chicken breast, pig in blanket, mini yorkie, stuffing, roast potatoes
Roast gammon, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes
Nut roast served with onion gravy and roast potatoes

All of the above are served with seasonal vegetables – on the table to share with roasts

Local haddock fillet deep fried in real ale batter, minted mushy peas and fries
Chilli braised belly pork, skinny fries, salad and coleslaw
Warm Cornish scallop salad with crispy bacon and sautéed potatoes
Halloumi, hummus and salsa burger in a brioche bun with skinny fries
Leek and gruyere cheese quiche served with mixed leaves and new potatoes
Salmon fishcakes with popcorn prawns, lime mayonnaise, salad and skinny fries
8oz steak burger topped with Alpine style cheese, bacon and fries
Vegetable Thai green curry, butternut squash, peppers, sweet corn and mangetout, served with jasmine rice and naan bread
