The Bridge’s location is on the Mount Batten peninsula making it an ideal choice for almost any occasion, special or otherwise. We are about 20 minutes drive from Plymouth City Centre and even closer for those who live in Plymstock and Turnchapel. We are also an ideal “coffee stop” for walkers enjoying the South Devon Coastal path which passes right outside our door and we welcome friendly dogs downstairs – we even have biscuits to keep them happy!
For something a bit different, you could park on the Barbican and then catch the water taxi from the Mayflower Steps across to Mount Batten. We are then an easy 5 minute walk along the waterfront.
Leave Plymouth City Centre and head out of the city on Exeter Street, following signs to Plymstock. Continue on the same road which will eventually take you over Laira Bridge. Turn right at Morrison’s, then continue for about a mile before turning right at the lights. *Keep going, following signs to Mount Batten. Eventually, you will go through Hooe past the Primary School on your left and out of the other side of the housing estates. Just as you think you cannot go any further without ending up in the sea you will come to a roundabout with some a large white building on the left hand side.
Turn right and follow the hill down where you will see The Bridge directly in front of you.
From Yealmpton, turn left at the Elburton roundabout then pick up the directions as above from *
